A Nashville photographer with an engineering background, uses his skill to reframe narratives of Blackness in the United States through his lens. Moving beyond technical proficiency, he aims to tell stories that go beyond the pain and trauma often associated with Black experiences.
Joseph's work seeks to capture the vibrancy in his community. Rather than focusing on struggle, he isolates the highlights in everyday moments, celebrations, and triumphs, offering a studied approach to Black life.
